Who we are

29 Skyy Entertainment (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent record label and multimedia company based in Atlanta, Georgia. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to fans, customers, members and anyone who contacts us.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information, using the category names from the California Consumer Privacy Act:

Identifiers — name, email address, postal address, phone number, IP address and account login.
Commercial information — orders placed, merchandise purchased, membership tier, and returns or refunds.
Financial information — billing and shipping address. Card numbers never reach our servers; payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
Internet activity — pages viewed, tracks played, products viewed, and how you arrived at the site.
Geolocation — approximate location inferred from your IP address and from the state and ZIP code you enter at checkout, which is also what determines the sales tax on your order.
Audio information — a recording and transcription of any voicemail you leave on our business line.
Inferences — the merchandise and music we think you are likely to be interested in.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined under California law, and we do not use or disclose any for purposes that would require offering you a right to limit it.

Where the information comes from

Most of it comes directly from you — when you create an account, place an order, join the fan club, sign up for email, enter a competition, contact us or call our business line. The rest is collected automatically by your browser as you use the site, through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it

To take, process, ship and support your orders, and to handle returns and refunds.
To run fan club memberships and give members access to exclusive content.
To calculate the sales tax due on your order from your shipping address.
To answer your messages, calls and booking inquiries.
To send transactional email — order confirmations, shipping notices, receipts and membership notices.
To send marketing email, where you have asked for it. Every message has an unsubscribe link.
To keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
To understand which pages, releases and products people engage with, so we can improve them.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers who perform work on our behalf and are contractually restricted to that purpose:

Stripe — payment processing, subscriptions and fraud prevention.
Our shipping carriers — to deliver your order, and to give you tracking.
Our email provider — to send transactional and marketing email.
Twilio — to run our business phone line and store voicemail.
Our web host — to operate and back up the site.
Analytics and advertising providers — only where you have allowed those cookies.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or as part of a merger or sale of the business — in which case we would tell you first.

Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, when advertising or analytics cookies are switched on, the information those cookies collect may be treated as a “sale” or as “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising” under California law and under several other state privacy laws.

You can opt out at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals automatically, which is the most reliable way to make the choice apply everywhere.

We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Your rights

Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to:

Know what personal information we have collected, used and disclosed about you.
Access a copy in a portable, machine-readable format.
Delete the personal information we hold, apart from records we must keep for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising.
Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. You will receive the same prices, the same products and the same level of service either way.
Appeal a decision we make about your request, where your state provides for it.

The fastest way to use the first four is your account privacy page, where you can download your data or request deletion yourself. You can also email us. We respond within 45 days and may extend that once by a further 45 days where a request is complex, telling you why. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and keep your cart working, and cannot be switched off. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set once you allow them. See our Cookie Policy, or change your choices in cookie settings.

How long we keep it

Order and tax records — seven years, to meet federal and state tax record-keeping expectations.
Account information — while your account is open, and then removed on request.
Marketing lists — until you unsubscribe.
Contact and booking inquiries — two years.
Voicemail — one year, unless we agree otherwise with you.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed and are never recoverable in plain text. Card details never touch our servers. Access to the dashboard is restricted, logged and protected against repeated login attempts. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top, and we will tell you directly if the change is significant.
